With the support of WR Legal, the building management department of the city of Solingen is designing Europe-wide award procedures for the extension and partial refurbishment of Weyer primary school and the renovation, extension, partial refurbishment and amalgamation of Kreuzweg primary school. Both measures are part of the school development plan of the city of Solingen. WR Legal supports the city in drafting the tender documents including contracts and accompanies the award procedures from publication to the award of the contract.
In the city of Essen, WR Legal is supporting the “Quartier der Generationen” project in a planning area with a total area of approx. 26,800 m². The Committee for Urban Development and Planning decided to plan a pilot project on the Germaniastrasse sports ground in the form of an innovative “neighbourhood of generations”. The aim is to implement a neighbourhood concept under the motto “intergenerational – social – communal”. The different interests and needs of the generations are to be combined in such a way that the neighbourhood residents can develop and live social cohesion in the neighbourhood, while leaving enough freedom for the individual. In this project, WR Legal is currently supporting the award procedures for the planning services for the land management and for the construction of a new day care centre and a 2-court sports hall.
WR Legal is currently advising the building management of the City of Paderborn (GMP) in the award procedure for the planning and construction of the extension of the Bonifatius primary school. Due to a lack of room capacity at the constantly growing Bonifatius primary school, additional classrooms and differentiation rooms, including ancillary rooms, are to be created in a new building connected to the existing building on the outdoor area to the south of the main building. WR Legal is also supporting the GMP in awarding the planning services for the refurbishment and modernisation of the Maspernplatz sports centre.
