On 1 November 2023, lawyer Henrik Trockel joined the public procurement law team at WR Legal in Düsseldorf. As Counsel, he complements and further expands the advice in public procurement law.

Henrik Trockel previously headed the public procurement law department at Aurantia legal & tax for several years. He started his professional career at CLP Rechtsanwälte and joined Aulinger Rechtsanwälte und Notare in 2020. His focus on public procurement law includes, for example, providing nationwide (KHZG) advice to various public clients in the healthcare sector.

Due to WR Legal’s high level of expertise in IT law and IT contract law, further synergies are to be created, particularly in this area.

Mona Buchner is also joining the firm as procurement manager with Henrik Trockel. She will support Biemann and Trockel’s public procurement team both professionally and organisationally.

Following Dr Jens Biemann’s significant development of WR Legal’s public procurement practice as a partner since the beginning of the year, the public procurement team is now being expanded. In this way, WR Legal intends to further expand both in advising the public sector and in advising bidders.
