Further information: In the course of the 2016 reform of public procurement law, a new regulation was incorporated into German public procurement law in the form of Section 132 of the Act against Restraints of Competition. This makes it possible, under certain conditions, to amend public contracts during the contract period. Section 132 GWB is the central norm for contract adjustments and thus allows for more flexible contract design.
